purchased boat and on the trip home it came off and damaged my bumper gm says they are not responsible even though their employee's hooked it to my vehicle lower unit is bad in boat says its my problem wish i would have looked at the reviews before purchasing this is not the only place i will post horrible staffstay away zero stars

I purchased an Rv from Georgetown Ron Hoover Rv. It is very apparent the Rv was not serviced. Service Manager refused to assist with issues. I have had to spend money out of my pocket now to fix the issue they should have found before selling the unit

Been almost a year and i still have not received my license plates even though they said they will mail them to me.

Nothing. Don't have a hundred symbols to write. Have not had any response for them since I called. Wait and see I guess.

I gave Ron hoovers $1000 down payment to find me an RV trailer, and they are now saying they won't refund my thousand dollars, and they would not provide me with any information in regards I have proof that I have been denied through different banks they've been sending my information to see if I qualify without my consent I've been asking for my money back, and they hang up on me, and they tell me I'm not getting anything back. They are only interested in getting your money. They don't care if you've satisfied. I bought my RV over 2 months ago and the paper plate has expired and they told me to contact the DMV myself and fix the problem. The DMV said they already issued the plates to Ron Hoover and to contact them. I have no plates for my RV and Ron Hoovers people are no help!!! This is from the Georgetown location

I recently purchased a 2016 Jayco Melbourne from your North Houston dealer. I was having some problems with the fresh water system call the service advisor and asked if I could bring rv by.. As soon as i arrived at your facility she asked a tech to take a look . ten minutes later problem solved and we were on our way..thank you Bon Sanders

I bought an RV and had them install a TV mount and they told me the bolts to mount the TV came with the TV. I bought the TV at Best Buy and the manger there told me the bolts bolts do not come with the TV. I had to wait over 2 hours before anyone would help me. Im still waiting for the solution to my problem.

Purchased a New River Ranch Trailer. Did a final walk through prior to pick up. Found numerous defects that needed to be fixed before I would accept delivery. They try to tell you to sign off on acceptance and bring it back for repair. Problem with that is if you accept if they can charge you. While they were fixing problems others were discovered. I refused final acceptance a second time. Another issue is that everyone down the line will lie to you. I even saw a charge on my credit card that was for fixing these items that I now have to dispute. Buyer beware to never sign anything related to acceptance if there are issues with your trailer until it is all fixed. Especially a brand new $107,000. trailer

***Pay attention to warranty/service reviews. They speak to the true nature of a company. Any retailer can put up a façade to make a sale.*** Purchased from Ron Hoover because of the Forest River name. Forest River is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. Warren Buffet would be ashamed to know how Ron Hoover handles their service and warranty department. After purchasing a BRAND NEW, albeit one year old RV off the lot; (2018 model purchased in 2019) and putting 1,500 miles on the odometer, we discovered major quality and workmanship issues and filed a claim. To name a few issues: -Leak in the roof over the cab bunk which resulted in rotted wood under the bunk. -Forward slide leaked around the weather seal rotting the floor in the dining room, living room, and kitchen) -Fresh Water tank leaked under the master bed causing black mold and requiring the frame be replaced. -Rear slide weather seal leaked and the bedroom floor needed to be replaced. (To name a few.... Did I mention this was a new RV?) We have now owned our RV for just under 1 year. It has spent 7 months with Ron Hoover's laughable warranty and service department with no light at the end of the tunnel. We have to call repeatedly for updates, no work has been completed to date, and the last we heard, "the parts we need weren't on the supply truck, so we can't complete the work." 7 MONTHS!!! In the time our RV has been in for warranty work, the entire 2021 Forrest River has been built. Ron Hoover, an "authorized dealer and service center" doesn't have the ability to repair seals and floors in their own RVs. When we pressed for answers the Warranty Department stated, "Well, you did buy last years model." Let me get this straight; Ron Hoover has such little faith in their product, that if a Brand New RV sits on their lot for 1 year, they expect it to catastrophically fail when driven 1500 miles. If this sounds like your kind of RV and dealership, go right ahead. After several months of nothing happening, we made a trip up to try to speak with someone in person. Must have been our lucky day. We spoke with non-other than Chris Hoover who said he would personally ensure the RV was repaired in a timely manner. He's either a typical smoke and mirrors sales person, or has zero control over the company he is CEO of; as two more months have gone by with zero effort made. If you are the type of person that wants to enjoy their RV and receive reasonable service when needed, AVOID RON HOOVER. On the other hand, if you enjoy stubbing your toes on corners, smashing your thumb while hammering nails, or brain freezes while eating ice cream, this may be the RV Dealer of your dreams. I don't normally write reviews, but this has to get out. If you are spending the money for a quality RV, you can do so much better than a Forest River by Ron Hoover.

Their service department is aweful We have had our camper in their shop several times and they have yet to fix the problems. They are full of excuses.
